I wonder if they will a quota system for Chess, Golf and Lawn tennis?
Indians dominate chess, Female tennis .. Black woman Serena Williams ... Golf... a black man Tiger Woods ... Next Yachting.
In spite of all the barriers to blacks in certain fields , when the opportunity opens , they excel and yes there should be a Quota for Blacks in these sports
But lets stick to cricket .
I believe that Blacks are a physiologically ,Biologically , psychologically and mechanically superior to any other people in this sport .
The dominating WestIndies team of years gone by prove this beyond a doubt.
You may ask about the present windies team and I would answer that it is an aberration which will soon be righted and the Westindies team occupy the nos 1 spot again
Major cricket records are held by blacks in the West indies
Highest runs in a game.. Lara
Highest aggregate .. Lara , discount Tendulkar since his is achieve through longevity
Highest wicket taker Courtney Walsh .. Discount Murali and Warne as their wickets are mostly against tail enders Walsh rips apart the top order and the best batsmen and one of his wickets is worth two of the others
These are some reasons that Blacks are not provided the opportunity at the grass root level in South .
Africa . It could make the white man a rarity on the South African team

Australia dominated Cricket for quite some time!
That's it ?what a meek response , no personal attack ?
The Australians achieved their domination through sheer cheating and intimidation with the acquiesces of Bucknor and as soon as Bucknor was removed from the scene , the Aussies became an ordinary also ran team.
The windies championship team was admired and loved by cricket lovers all over the cricket world and the same cannot be said of the Aussies as they were hated and despised
Another thing Blacks and especially Blacks in the WestIndies or rather Westindian cricketers are aesthetically more pleasant to look at on the cricket pitch be it bowling or batting and may I add that I include Rohan Kanhai in this category as I saw him many times.
The blacks are the majority but the issue is about redressing the balance at the grassroots in my view otherwise the few blacks who have struggled up the system will have nothing to follow them when they retire.
Once the system is fair and operated on merit then the best team should always be selected whether all white, black or whatever. CSA is not there as yet and maybe you of Gina can comment on the grassroots work in SA.
