All test centuries are not the same

I believe that it is time now for cricket to modernise the way centuries are recorded. A double  triple or quadruple century should be given as 2 , 3 and  4 . centuries in one inning
Lara 's triple and quadruple century  should count as 7 centuries.
How can a  batsman with lets say 2 centuries in  2 games that totals 200 runs be given the same weight as A  Lara  whose total is 700 runs  in 2 games?

I agree . It really is silly when 3 or 4 = 1 !  :-\
