Two males have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Brampton Monday afternoon.
Peel police say they were called to a home on Garden Gate Circle shortly after 2:35 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
The victim, a man believed to be in his 30s, suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to a representative with Peel Regional Paramedic Services.
Speaking with CP24 at the scene, Peel police Const. Lilly Fitzpatrick said that the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
No information on the identities of the suspects or the charges they face was immediately available.
Police continue to investigate at the scene.
