Canada outlawed 30 year mortgages.

Max is 25 and less....

the amortization is 25-30 yrs....correct?

the interest rate is for the term of the contract with the bank.....variable, 3-5yrs....correct?

in Canada i don't believe you can get a fixed interest rate for 25-30 yrs

No , here we do in in terms : 1, 2 ,3 , 4 , 5 and sometimes 7 years :

Amort is a latin term meaning to die OR your mortgage is done with !

that is , IF you doan die b4 de mortgage !ย  ::LOL::
