More Children Ingesting Marijuana Accidently

Medical marijuana is allowed in 18 or more states in some form. The likelihood that more children would encounter the drug in their home has also increased thanks to the recent approval of recreational use of marijuana in the states of Washington and Colorado.

Close to four years ago, the government decided to no longer investigate the people involved in distributing and using medical marijuana who were complying with the law.

This more lenient stand created a boom in dispensaries as well as for personal use in the states where the drug was allowed for medical purposes.

I don't think you can blame the drug for parents lack of care with it. It's like if a child found rat poison, you wouldn't blame the poison company, you'd blame the person who left it there.
