Even as Mr Warner defends the interest of one group, controversy is brewing over a metaphor for an ethnic community used by ex-national security minister- Jack Warner on his re-election campaign trail on Sunday.
Comments on TV6's Twitter page called the reference everything from disrespectful to racist.
Members of the affected group are offended but are not touching the subject publicly.

Warner looked like he sincerely wasn't bashing Titty Chinese but flawlessly bashing his enemies. he however shud not have used an ethic relative term to castigate the selective memory of his opponents.
those things are fraught in public for anyone especially a politician.
interesting to see the response of Titty Chinese however. they wont say nutten and are distancing themselves. they are small in number and do not have a good reputation in Titty.
Trinidad Chinese have been know to profit off Titty unconscionably for a long time, giving little back to the nation. raising a fuss over anything at all would be bad for their business. they are best doing thing out of sight
ALthough Warner is a fraud , his comment regarding the chinese is spot on . I did not read his comments but if the chinese are offended then he must have spoken the truth
