that would be a coup for Toronto

coup indeed.  it would make the NBA start to take the Raps seriously.  the Refs would call Raps games better in deference to Jackson etc..

but Jackson wont come here!  wat in the hell for?

there would be nutten in it for him.  the Raps ownership is not going to give him something but a salary only.  they wont even give him managerial position which is what Jackson appears to want at this time.  and it is doubtful that penny pinchers and all round money grubbing TO will pay Jacksons rates for any position..GM or coach. 

we talking real millions as a coach and more as GM

they don't keep bringing inexperienced and first time black head coaches to TO for no reason..they are cheap that's why.  even when the coach is white it is Jay Triano..A Canadian coach at rock bottom price.

all of this is talk..propaganda to keep the faithful happy.  Maple Leaf made a lot of basketball money this year.  they can at least afford to throw happy talk at the punters.  but they will pick up Colangelos' option and Casey along with him. 

there is a lil buzz around the team anyway..from a better year and hope that next season will be better based on that

in the meantime if Jackson comes back basketball, it would be with the new Seattle franchise as GM and part owner...or a humungus deal with Brooklyn Nets as anything from coach to GM and prolly both!

both options would be worth Jackson while...not anything cheap Toronto could or would offer him.

happy talk dat is. Maple Leafs would never spend the money it would take to get Jackson for the Raps
