Eight people were killed on 04 January when a man believed to be high on illegal drugs went on a shooting rampage in the Philippines, police said. The suspect was shot dead by police officers after randomly shooting at neighbors in Kawit town in Cavite province, just south of Manila, a police report said.
A man who was apparently intoxicated fatally shot eight people, including a pregnant woman, her 3-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old girl, before being shot dead by police Friday near Manila.
