Remains of the old New Amsterdam Hospital - chairman - 08-17-2012 The once famous New Amsterdam Public Hospital is no more, with only a few bricks remaining. Workers from GuySuCo seen here were helping to remove the broken concrete which, reportedly, would be used to repair a number of access dams in the East Berbice area.
