Welcome Back! Read first. - admin - 09-07-2026 Welcome Back! A lot has changed since you were last around — here's a quick rundown to get you set up and oriented. Get Your Profile Set Up 1. Set your avatar Head to User CP → Change Avatar and upload a photo. No avatar set just shows your initials in a colored circle — works fine, but a real picture makes you easier to spot around the board. 2. Set your flag (Home Island / Country) Go to User CP → Edit Profile and set "Home Island / Country." It shows as a small flag badge on the corner of your avatar next to every post you make — West Indian islands are at the top of the list, with a full rest-of-world list below that. 3. Everything else on your profile Same page lets you update your signature, bio, and other details. When you're viewing your own profile page, there's also a quick "Edit Profile" button right next to View Posts/View Threads. Main Features Around The Site User Titles — your rank (Rookie → Legend) is based on your post count and shows under your username on every post. Post Reactions — emojis on any post, right in the post footer. Shoutbox — real-time chat in the sidebar on most pages. Live Scores — sidebar scoreboard for CPL, West Indies tours, and ICC series, updated automatically. Match Threads — a thread auto-opens shortly before a tracked match, updates live as it goes, then a Post-Match thread gets posted with the final result. On This Day — a homepage widget surfacing a real thread from this forum's own history, same calendar day, years back. From The Archives — every thread page shows older threads on the same topic, so you can see how the conversation went the first time around. Recent Posts — a homepage panel showing the latest activity from across the whole board. GIF picker — in the reply/post editor toolbar, search and drop in a GIF. Dark mode — the sun/moon icon in the header toggles light/dark, and it remembers your choice. Good to have you back — jump in anywhere! RE: Welcome Back! Read first. - admin - 09-08-2026 Quick Takes — A quick one-click poll you'll see on some threads (Yes/No, Agree/Disagree, that kind of thing). No typing needed, just click and see how everyone else voted. Talking Now — The homepage panel that used to show "Recent Posts" now shows what's actually being talked about right now, based on real activity, not just whatever was posted last. Thread Prefixes — You'll notice little tags on threads now, like MATCH, NEWS, or OPINION. Makes it easier to spot what a thread's actually about before you click in. Reconnecting Old Accounts — If you posted on the old forum under a different account before the move to this site, we can merge that history into your current account, same posts, same threads, and your join date set back to when you first signed up years ago. Reply in this thread with your old username and we'll get it sorted. Shoutbox Replies — Reply to a specific shout instead of just adding to the bottom of the chat. Click the reply arrow on any shout and your reply shows a small quote of what you're responding to, same idea as replying to a message on iMessage or Discord. Take This To The Forum — See a shout worth a real discussion? Click the forum icon on it and it opens a new thread with that message already quoted in, so a passing comment can turn into a full thread with one click. Rich Link Previews — Paste a link to a news article or another site into a post, and it now shows up as a small preview card with the headline, a photo, and a short blurb, instead of just sitting there as a plain blue link.
