Series TIE 1 @piece Decider on Tuesday !! Ireland tour of West Indies : 1st ODI, Kingston - chairman - 01-16-2022 The time has come for us to take a hard look at the WI ODI team and make some hard choices. I will try to do some stats at the end of this series and make some suggestions moving forward. However on the outside it seems that our most consistent over the last 18 months or so are Alzari Joseph and Shai Hope in batting and bowling. Again I will look at the stats. Ideally along with them you would think that a Nicholoas Pooran (horrible loss.of form), Hetmyer (failure to be fit) Evin Lewis (injury) Holder (stability) Pollard (captaincy) and Fabian Allen (fitness) would form 8 of the core pieces you can build around. We have an ODI world Cup next year in 2023. We should only need 6 more people. Again I will look for the stats to support my argument. But what way you about the 8. |
