Mr Shatine Man - Billy Shatine - 07-12-2021 My once in a while time approaching for a meal that is opposed to my diabetes. I prepare for that for months, to be ready for it, to enjoy and to protect myself afterwards. this time I have a choice between 2 dishes and I am torn: 1. Chinese BBQ Duck, noodles, steamed white rice...and a salad 2. I building up for a small shot. deh tell mih I could eat pistachios. I so know dem I take 5 pistachios and pop them! and it was immediate glycemic high and peeing heavy heavy! often! 5 lil pistachios,5 peanuts, 7 almonds... an' is tears! I can eat so few nuts safely I can even count them now! :lol: :lol: :lol: Deh also told me that Chana Dal is low glycemic where yellow Split Peas is high glycemic. yellow Split peas is very troublesome for diabetics...very difficult for me, trouble from start to finish so I had to stop use it :woohoo: But Chana Dal is the same effect! no better despite what they say and write about it :woohoo: :woohoo: but man I would do anything to eat ah roti right now! soon! at some point! :blink: |
