In the last 10 years Veerasammy Permaul of the Albion Cricket Club has been the most successful spin bowler in the West Indies. Series after series in the West Indies 4-day cricket tournament, he has been in the top or the top 3 bowlers. He has been consistent and is one of the major reasons why Guyana has dominated the 4 day tournaments. Guyana is about to win its 5th successive title. Yet young Permaul has been ignored by the West Indies selectors. Something is not right.
