New Zealand conceded the top spot in the ICC T20I rankings after the 2-1 series loss to India, with Pakistan being the direct beneficiary. Dropping five points and a position from the top of the table, New Zealand (120) now have conceded a four-point lead to Pakistan (124). They are on par with the Windies, but remain slightly ahead on decimal points to occupy second position.
India (119) too gained three points, but continued to remain at fifth spot, behind England on decimal points.
