Powell made 92 and Hope looks like he is closing in on a century.
Do not be fooled by Powell's 92. If he can't make 100 vs Derbyshire, he cant make 50 vs real bowling. Indeed, he hasn't made a 50 in international cricket in almost 5 years.
Paint's lack of runs is disturbing. The batting coach probably told him to bat later than usual, not understanding that he already plays late, and that these county bowlers bowl short and slow anyway.
