Umblita Claire Van Sluytman 1966 - Captain - 05-26-2017 Umblita Claire Van Sluytman, was Indian, Portuguese and Dutch and became Miss Guyana at 19 years of age. She was quiet, gentle poised and beautiful. She was the first Miss Guyana to go to the Miss World contest and was loved by all who saw her. She was placed in the semi-finals and received letters from all over the world telling her she was one of the most beautiful and graceful woman they saw in the contest. She was a pleasure to know and a great honour for all who met her.
