Kuwait has denied a report that President Donald Trump posted on Facebook this week which claimed that the country had instituted a travel ban on individuals from Muslim-majority countries, similar to an executive order Trump signed. Trump posted a link to a story about Kuwait’s non-existent ban with the caption, “Smart!†The country “categorically denies these claims and affirms that these reported nationalities ... have big communities in Kuwait and enjoy full rights,†a government spokesman told state media. The Facebook post on Trump’s page has 218,000 likes and 68,000 shares.
