Khan also warned that Trump's "ignorant" views of Islam

"could make both our countries less safe"

- it risks alienating Muslims around the world and plays in to the hands of the extremists

"Donald Trump and those around him think that western liberal values are incompatible

with mainstream Islam -

London has proved him wrong."

I think The Donald would just build another wall in Khan's place if possible

Re: Khan vs Trump - Sworden - 05-10-2016

I just can't believe that Trump is actually being serious about all these statements and laws. I mean banning an entire religion from entering your country? What is this, the middle ages?

I also don't see it feasible at all, for example in places like Detroit, there are a lot of Canadian workers that come from across the border at Windsor, and a lot of these workers are Muslim. Would the companies be forced to fire all of them?

Re: Khan vs Trump - obliviousme - 05-11-2016

trump is an abominable human being his name doesn't even deserve to be treated as a proper noun. I will vote just about anyone but trump!

Re: Khan vs Trump - Sandy - 05-11-2016

Khan is a smart man to disregard Trump's statements.
After all even in the off-chance he were to accept, Trump's narrative changes from one minute to the other, so no reliability there.

Khan knows better than to set himself appart from the citizens of London by accepting such a random priviledge.

Re: Khan vs Trump - Observer - 05-11-2016

I commend Khan for relating the facts of life to Trump. I seeing a lot of turmoil around the world if Trump should become the US President and should have his way. Trump does not understand equality and justice and it seems he believe that persons who are not of the similar ilk as he should not be able to enjoy similar privileges as he does.
