"We are the first major browser maker to integrate an unlimited and free VPN or virtual private network," boasted Krystian Kolondra, Opera's head of engineering, in a Thursday post to a company blog.
Although VPNs are most commonly used by corporate workers to access company data when they're outside their firm's network perimeter, Opera stressed the anonymous browsing they can provide.
Opera's baked-in VPN will let users access sites blocked in their countries, or by their employers or schools. It will also anonymize the user -- the VPN disguises the actual IP address of the user -- by making it appear that the browser originated elsewhere. In a public setting, such as a coffee shop's Wi-Fi network, a VPN also provides a secure "tunnel" to the destination, preventing theft of credentials and personal information like passwords.

Alright! That means I don't need Hotspot Shield or Tor browser anymore. Opera browser really goes smooth and with a baked In VPN I don't need to reserve more RAM memory for hotspot shield running or navigate through the slow tor browser. It really fits my needs.

I used to use Opera a lot as my main browser, but then something happened and for some reason I gave up on it. I honestly do not remember the reason, but now I am intrigued with myself and I wonder if I can ever remember it. I forgot about Opera for the most part until now, so maybe I will have to take a look and see what new things they have going on.

They already have the Add Block.... with a build-in VPN it will for sure become my very best browser. I will only miss the chrome add-ons, but they also have some.... Does anyone know if they have the same add-ons as chrome? Tks.
