His shots selection is equal to all parts of the ground : Covers, MidWicket, Mid On and Off, Third Man and Fine Leg a bit of backward point and square leg ! People have been expecting a lot out of him and he hasn't lived up to those expectations. 20% of his T20I runs came in this tournament so far, which shows he has been por in this format for a long time. The last time he got a decent score before this tournament was in 2012 against the West Indies; that too at home. Just prior to this, in the Asia Cup, I don't remember any notable contribution from him. In fact just like my above poster he is very inconsistent and S.Rahman is a much better batsman in comparison. I don't think he will pose a major threat to countries like India and Aus. Not to take away from his achievement, he played splendidly yesterday.
