International team under corruption investigation - dillinger10 - 03-07-2016 Not the greatest of news ahead of the upcoming World Twenty20, but perhaps should come as no surprise. Quote: An international team is under investigation for corruption, the ICC's anti-corruption unit chairman has revealed at the outset of the World Twenty20 in India. Sir Ronnie Flanagan said the ACU had thwarted attempts to "manipulate" events in forthcoming matches to facilitate betting, and that action had been initiated against "one or two individuals". http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci-icc/content/story/978837.html Re: International team under corruption investigation - chairman - 03-07-2016 i wonder which team it is Re: International team under corruption investigation - ketchim - 03-07-2016 That Saffie loss to Oz . Re: International team under corruption investigation - thedeatheater1410 - 03-07-2016 Difficult to say which team it is but I am going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the Associate sides. It may sound rude but they don't exactly get big sums of money to play like their Full Member counterparts so the lure of extra money is always there. The Wold T20 is a very big stage so the stakes are always high.
