JAMAICAN hotel magnate Gordon “Butch†Stewart, the founder and chairman of the Sandals and Beaches all-inclusive chain of resorts, is looking at properties in Tobago.
Stewart, 74, arrived in Tobago yesterday by private jet.
He looked at a number of real estate properties with a possible view to investing in the island, the Express was told.
Stewart was accompanied by Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly Orville London, Deputy Chief Secretary and Secretary for Tourism and Transportation Tracy Davidson-Celestine, Minister of Tourism Shamfa Cudjoe, administrator for Tourism Cheryl-Ann Solomon and other senior tourism officials.
