No formal reinstatement of Phil Simmons yet - WICB - chairman - 11-03-2015
Confirming that Simmons has not been reinstated yet, Muirhead revealed that a meeting was conducted with the former West Indian player regarding the issue.
"There has been no formal reinstatement," Muirhead told ESPNcricinfo.
"We agreed to certain conditions in principle about how to go forward."
The WICB chief expressed his willingness on having Simmons back on board despite the incident provided the protocols are defined clearly this time around.
"It is about dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
“What we are doing is making sure that all protocols and everything is agreeable to both sides in terms of language and the steps that we will take going forward."

These outings showed that WI does not have attitude nor aptitude to win regularly, despite celebrated presence of Sir Garfield Sobers, a visit that must have been bitter-sweet. The world’s best cricketer ever, despite even his tears, could not cajole WI’s players to better performances.

if you going to open up yuh mout.' contrary to the rules, in a situation that is obviously ridiculous the reaction is entirely predictable. why was he not prepared to resign immediately.
he challenged the rotten status quo and then folded up like a bad flush, siting meekly and quiet awaiting his fate at the hands of the absolutely worst west indians running anything anywhere at this time.
my patience is at an end with Phil. phiss on him. the challenge was nice but the aftermath suggest that it represents no evidence of class and fortitude on the part of Phil. Phill is no sturdy character but in all likelihood a man who lost his patience in the face of absolute corruption and regrets every second of it
