Jason Holder has said that setting a standard for performance within the team will be his first priority
when he takes charge as West Indies' Test captain on the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The first thing we need to do is set a standard in the dressing room where we don't fall below [our current ranking],"
Holder said in his first media conference after his appointment as Test captain.

You do realize that management can only do so much. Quite a lot depends on the cricketers who play the game.

I wouldda prefer IF he said :
We are playing Sri Lanka whom has 89 points and we are at 81 points .
My ambition and focus is CLOSING this 8 point Gap .
That would be a REAL Benchmark
