Who's going to the West Indian American Carnival? - Gloryontheway - 09-01-2015 Who's going to the West Indian American Day Parade & Carnival on Monday, September 7, 2015? This event you can bet millions of people will be all over Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York for the biggest cultural festival you have ever seen.  This year would be year 46. My favorite is watching all of the fancy costumes, the calypso and steel bands.  And who can forget the smell of real home-style island foods.
