Sarwan seeks selection in Jamaica Franchise squad - chairman - 08-28-2015 Guyana-born batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan is expected to try out for the Jamaica Scorpions franchise for the upcoming 2015-16 regional professional cricket season. OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt that Sarwan, the former West Indies captain, is expected to be in Jamaica for fitness tests on September 1 and 2 when contracted players will undergo physical evaluations. The trial match is scheduled for September 11 and 12.
