Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - boquiesse - 04-01-2015 Quote:Not only is the fate of West Indian cricket in east Indian hands......................... Read Mr Berry here: West Indies in disarray ahead of Test series with England Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - Rowe992 - 04-02-2015 If only the English would mind their own cricketing business which is slowing rotting than constantly bashing the West Indies. I guess it is nothing new because throughout history that is all the English ever did. Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - Captain - 04-02-2015 who is this fool to criticize our team these english always think they are right look at their loosing WC record and he is batting for rouges and deserters why he not support KP t Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - boquiesse - 04-02-2015 Mr Scyld Ivens Berry was educated at Westbourne Sch Sheffield, Ampleforth and Christ's College Cambridge (MA). De man was editor of de Cricketer's "bible" - ed Wisden Cricketers' Almanack 2008-11. Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - Snoopster - 04-02-2015 I would have agreed with Mr. Berry (re: Shiv retiring long ago) if the Wondies were a winning team. On a winning team his place in the side (at age 40) would be redundant and prohibitive. But on this losing Wondies Test team his place in the side is invaluable. He brings a lot of experience, stability, and class to a mediocre team. I do think however he should call it a day on this Test career after he breaks Lara's record. He will always get a contract in England so employment will be available elsewhere post retirement from international cricket. Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - ketchim - 04-02-2015 School them , Snoopster ::LOL:: Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - Captain - 04-02-2015 +after retirement the man going back to fishing and coaching his junior tiger Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - ketchim - 04-02-2015 Berry is a skunt : he really outta Context ....
Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - 1shanemarsh - 04-03-2015 break the record then retire Re: Scyld say Shiv should have retired long ago - chairman - 04-04-2015 I learnt a lot from looking at Alvin Kallicharran’s technique. Rohan Kanhai corrected a few flaws I had earlier in my batting technique, and I will never forget the advice he gave me. He really knows the game, and can impart a lot of knowledge to many young cricketers. I also think he is a batting genius. |
