Edgbaston and Old Trafford have improved significantly in recent seasons following major investment, with Warwickshire's work recognised at the Business of Cricket Awards recently.
Lords, The Oval and Headingley will host the other three Ashes Test matches. From a personal stand point I was disappointed to see the Ageas Bowl overlooked for an Ashes Test though the disappointing turn out for the recent Test match against India probably didn't do them any favours.
