$10M in Masterpieces Recovered - chairman - 12-18-2014

Nine works of art stolen in 2008 worth $10 million have been recovered after investigators from the LAPD and the FBI cracked the case wide open. An undercover operation caught Raul Espinoza, 45, trying to sell the paintings for $700,000 cash. A home owned by elderly art collectors in Encino was broken into in 2008, and works including Marc Chagall’s “Les Paysans” and Diego Rivera’s “Mexican Peasant” were stolen. There were a total of 12 missing paintings, and three are still missing, but police believe they are close to identifying the people involved in the original burglary.

Great,

Expensive paintings are recovered, but human lives are rarely protected.  ::LOL::

Hey Map,

How's that for the technological world? ::LOL::

The police makes a move for expensive items but not for human lives.  ::LOL::
