What will a condemnation do for these families? What will it do for us? What will it do for the world? People are duplicitious...and they play to different audiences at differing times.
Just stop the damn killing. The religious leaders should tell these bozos that alllah will not accept them when the kill...that is it s a sin, and that there are no virgins after you are dead....that the sex you need and can have can only be had in this lifetime.

You miss the point entirely. My statement above is rhetorical. Not one Muslim will condemn these atrocities because those so-called leaders of Islam profess the same values and beliefs as those murderous Taliban killers.
It goes back to my proposition that there is in fact no such thing as a moderate Muslim. It's a fiction, a fallacy. A media invented animal used to appease these very people who threaten, intimidate and use horrific acts of violence on others (Muslims included) because of their stone age religious beliefs.
If you want to "stop the killings" you have to get rid of the religion. That is the root and source of all these barbaric acts of violence.

Didn't miss the point...just voicing my frustration...these actions are sadly robbing the world of the most precious assets, bright faced, happily smiling, playful and innocent children.
I don't know how these folks can go back and pray to god, ever. There is nothing ot pray for after you have become the devil incarnate.
