Michael Carberry: Hampshire batsman signs for Perth Scorchers - 00mg - 11-24-2014
Hampshire's Michael Carberry has joined the Perth Scorchers for the Big Bash season, which starts on 18 December.
Carberry, 34, was Hampshire's second-highest run-scorer in the 2014 T20 Blast campaign, as the club reached their fifth consecutive T20 Finals Day.
He joins the reigning BBL champions alongside all-rounder Yasir Arafat, who will play for Hampshire next year.
"It's an exciting competition and exciting times for Carbs," said Hants director of cricket Giles White.

I saw Carberry a lot this past year. He looked in really good form and put up some really big numbers in all phases of the game. He will be a good signing for Perth.
