All options, including hamstring surgery, will be canvassed in the effort to prolong Michael Clarke's career, with Cricket Australia admitting the Australian skipper could miss the entire Test summer.
Scans on Clarke's hamstring were inconclusive and will be pored over by experts in the coming days to determine a course of action, with the emphasis to be placed on February's World Cup and defending the Ashes in England next winter.
