It is now being revealed that the core group of players involved in the recent boycott of the India Tour had already made plans to travel to South Africa
to participate in their T20 League.
Dwayne Bravo and Kieran Pollard requested “No Objection Certificates†called NOC, in the midst of strike action which resulted in abandoning
of the West Indies Tour to India.

[size=12pt]I said from the inception that the players were wrong to quit the tour. It is now patently clear that the ring leaders, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, etc, had ulterior motives. They engineered the destruction of the tour to India knowing full well they could continue playing in the IPL. And now we find out they are headed to South Africa in November---the same time the test series was to be played.

Correct. So they would have been free to play in the SA T20's anyways. So it's questionable whether the SA T20 tournament was a motive for Bravo and Pollard to strike on this Indian Tour.
