Miss. tea party leader dead in apparent suicide - chairman - 06-27-2014 (CNN) -- A tea party leader tied to alleged political dirty tricks that rattled Republicans in Mississippi and beyond is dead -- shot once in the head in an apparent suicide, according to police. Police officers in Ridgeland, Mississippi, found Mark Mayfield's body shortly after 9 a.m. Friday on the floor of a storage room in his garage. "Because all of the indications, it appears to be suicide, but we still got some things to look into," Ridgeland police Chief Jimmy Houston told CNN. "He left a suicide note, and we are verifying its validity." Authorities haven't disclosed the contents of that note or why Mayfield might have taken his life. Re: Miss. tea party leader dead in apparent suicide - Allison - 06-28-2014 That was so sad that a young person would hurt themselves. They are young, and have so much to look forward to living. He was a tea party member. Perhaps he was mentally ill. Even so I am saddened whenever young people die. Re: Miss. tea party leader dead in apparent suicide - May102014 - 06-30-2014 I can't say I am surprise. I won't speak ill of the dead. The Tea Party do not rank high on my list of decent people who care about their country. I feel the Tea Party represents a new and sophisticated version of hate. I call it the George Wallace approach. Wallace was good at preaching enough hatred for blacks to ignite anger in whites to bomb, beat, and kill black Americans. The Tea Party's ideology borders on the approach used successfully by Wallace, without the obvious mentions of people they dislike. Whatever the reason for this man's suicide, the Republican Party in America is in complete shambles. The republicans on the contrary are not in shambles , far from it . Their voters are only concerned with guns god and bibles with a diabolical hatred for minorities thrown in Re: Miss. tea party leader dead in apparent suicide - ketchim - 06-30-2014 Was the Tea from China ? :-\ |
