Roach eyes return against NZ - chairman - 05-21-2014
West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach is hoping to make a return to international Test cricket against the visiting Black Caps next month.
Roach has recently returned to domestic action after seven months out with a shoulder injury. The fast bowler played a T20 game for CGI Maple, his local club.
"I am glad to be back on the field playing for Maple and I am looking forward to representing the West Indies again as soon as possible with my focus on the Test series against New Zealand in a few weeks," Roach told the Barbados Cricket Association's (BCA) website.
"I have really missed playing," he said. "Seven months out of cricket is a long time and now I am at the point where I can play again. I am very confident that once I get some more sessions in and some strength work, I will be raring to go for the first Test against New Zealand, if selected."
Roach revealed that he was working with a number of former West Indies fast bowlers to get his shoulder back to full strength.
The fast bowler said that he was looking forward to taking on New Zealand, as the last time the two sides had played, New Zealand had won the series.

i like the idea of a fit Roach, Taylor and maybe Gabriel leading the attack.
I would pick Fidel still.

Good to see Roach back. Will make a big difference to WI pace attack.
Hope dem coaches tell him NOT to go throwing himself around trying to save a run here or there.
