Man dies in accident with cow on Corentyne Highway - chairman - 04-30-2014
THIRTY-SEVEN-year-old Rawle Douglas of No. 53 Village Corentyne, Berbice lost his life on the Corentyne Highway at No. 50 Village at about 1:15hrs on Sunday when the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a cow.
Police investigations indicate that the vehicle was allegedly travelling at a fast rate when it collided with the cow on the roadway.
Douglas was rushed to the Skeldon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police have detained the vehicle driver, whose blood alcohol level was allegedly determined to be above the legal limit.

driving drunk? usually that means speed! everyone knows that donkeys and cows take over the road at night!!

charges was filed against the cow , who did not remain at the scene
