Berbice man busted with cocaine in pastries at CJIA - chairman - 04-07-2014
[inewsguyana.comHome - INews Guyana] – A 37 – year – old man Berbice man was busted last evening (Sunday, April 6) at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) with a quantity of cocaine stuffed in pastries – cheese rolls and pine tarts.
He was an outgoing passenger on Flight BW526 heading to New York.
Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit upon inspecting the food found in the man’s suitcase that it was stuffed and baked with cocaine instead on cheese and pine.
iNews (inewsguyana.comHome - INews Guyana) learnt that the discovery involves over 15 pounds. The man is in police custody as investigations get underway.
Only recently CANU ranks found cocaine in fake awarra. Other innovative methods that were uncovered include: cocaine in cream liqueur, ochros, and straws among others.
