I've always appreciated Sammy as a skipper. He has a very calm head on his shoulders, and is always ready to stand behind any team member who is facing flak. I've never seen any other captain as unperturbed by defeat as him. He's more than handy with both the bat and ball, and while he seldom sets the ground on fire, he is a good find and an all-round cricketer.
