1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-28-2014 This is the only format where I have no confidence in our boys performing well, for whatever reason we suck. Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - Googley - 01-28-2014
This is the only format where I have no confidence in our boys performing well, for whatever reason we suck.
anodda set of home made bullies! 8) Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-28-2014 Team news The absence of several first-choice players including David Warner, Shane Watson and Mitchell Johnson, means that Australia may try some new things in this series. White may join Aaron Finch at the top of the order and it remains to be seen whether the raw legspinner James Muirhead will debut in Hobart. The only apparent certainty is that Mitchell Starc, who is returning from a back injury, will not play in the first game. "I think he's still building up so I think the plan at this stage is for him to play the last couple, or the last game of this series," Bailey said. Australia (possible) 1 Aaron Finch, 2 Cameron White, 3 Chris Lynn, 4 George Bailey (capt), 5 Glenn Maxwell, 6 Moises Henriques, 7 Matthew Wade (wk), 8 Ben Cutting, 9 Nathan Coulter-Nile, 10 Josh Hazlewood, 11 James Muirhead. An influx of Twenty20 specialists means England's side will look quite different from the ODI outfit, with Michael Lumb, Alex Hales and Luke Wright all available for top-order positions. There are plenty of all-round options in England's side, which means they could bat very deep depending on how the selectors balance the team. England (possible) 1 Michael Lumb, 2 Alex Hales, 3 Luke Wright, 4 Eoin Morgan, 5 Joe Root / Ravi Bopara, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Ben Stokes, 8 Stuart Broad (capt), 9 Chris Jordan, 10 James Tredwell, 11 Jade Dernbach. Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - Captain - 01-28-2014 2 bullies let the bully each other Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-28-2014 Eng fielding a team wif two gurls, Jos & Jade Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - Kyle - 01-29-2014 Well yeah, I wonder how is it that they do so terribly, I mean you've got such jaw droppingly good hitters in BBL with bowlers who bowl pretty tight spells. Also, I can't believe they're not taking Hodge back, I mean would've been such an asset to the T20 side. Even test side, but lets keep that aside for now. I'm glad to see Lynn in there. My XI would be: Finch White Wade Bailey* Moss Lynn Maxi Christian Cutting Hazlewood Muirhead Batting depth there is incredible. In fairness, Poms have Hales and White to begin with, along with the regulars - i.e. Morgan et al. - so should be a great contest. Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - bala24 - 01-29-2014 White was effective for the stars in the Big Bash, hope he continues his form in this too. Also,Joe Root..?? Seriously..?/ he bats at snails' pace and is no way effective in a 20-20 match.Let's see how it all wraps out ..It's still another 3 hrs,so probably i should take a nap.. 8) Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-29-2014 Wow Aussies put up a lovely score of 213//4 White & Finchy great opening stand Poms are 45/3 Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-29-2014 Henriques with two wickets in his first over, nice! Re: 1st T20 - Aus vs Eng @Hobart - DownUnda - 01-29-2014 Bowled him, Morgan gone. Bowled by the BigShow 77/4 after 9 |
