Our opening pair seems to have been a disaster since 1993. When did we last have a solid opener? Sherwin Campbell? Is Gayle considered a good Test opener?
Maybe we should bring in a player like Kraigg Brathwaite - who bats slow as hell - and have him open and just blunt the ball and tire the bowlers for hours. We keep playing flashy stroke-players as openers; maybe we need to open with a dull wall.
