Just wants to get back in the squad. He got his chance after Kirk and did quite well to have retained a place in the squad though.

Good point but I think we know he has to play the game but he does not have to go overboard. I am also mindful of his abilities to skirt the issues.

As Captain said, come on guys. You can't be serious. What else is he supposed to say? Either way, I think he could have toned it down a bit and taken a more vague apporach - but then again, why? I mean he don't want to dig his grave really.
