US to invest $1 billion in energy sector: Sartaj - chairman - 10-25-2013
Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security‚ Sartaj Aziz said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's visit to the United States would usher in a new era of friendship between the two countries.
In an interview‚ he said the US media has also portrayed Prime Minister's visit in a positive way and described it as new development in bilateral Pak-US relations.
Sartaj Aziz said strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the United Sates would be held in Washington in March next year.
He said the United States has assured to invest one billion dollars in the energy sector of Pakistan to overcome the energy crisis.
Sartaj Aziz said Obama Administration has also shown its willingness to assist Islamabad in defence and trade sectors.
