Google Stock Price Passes $1000 - chairman - 10-19-2013
It was a milestone Friday for Google, as its stock price surpassed $1000—a rare feat in the business world. The search engine has come a long way since its $85 dollar initial public offering in 2004. Google joins the likes of Priceline.com and the turkey and hog processing company Seaboard in the small but mighty $1000 club. The company closed out the day with a hefty share price of $1,011.41.
