Dow Plummets on China Fears
Not a great start to Monday. The Dow Jones fell more than 200 points on fears of a Chinese credit crisis. Asian stocks tanked, triggered by a 5.3 percent decline in the Shanghai Composite Index, which hit a low for the year. The stock market is still recovering from the Federal Reserve’s announcement that the central bank might buy fewer bonds and raise rates.
