Led Zeppelin, anybody? - Pilgrim1975 - 05-27-2013

Any Zep fans in the house at all? I've always loved them so I thought I'd ask.

Oops, I was a little careless with the cut and paste there. Here's the actual video I originally intended to post up:

Fantastic. It's always good to see another Led Zeppelin fan! I've always loved their work, even though I wasn't born in the whole Zeppelin generation. Pretty awesome, I share your fanaticism!

I actually remember first finding Led Zeppelin because of the whole "conspiracy" with the backwards version of this song. Pretty hilarious and coincidental.

You know a song's fantastic when it's amazing forwards AND backwards! Nevertheless, loved the lyrics and tempo throughout, Stairway to Heaven was what initially made me a fan Big Grin.

I am a big fan ! When Bonham died i was in a state of depression !

It was also weird seeing his Son on the Drums at that reunion.

I saw Robert Plant Live ..years ago at a Concert here in Toronto

One of my favorite bands of all time. Nice to see the Zeppelin fun here. Jimmy Page was the original guitar hero and Bonham was a monster on the drums.

My favorite Zeppelin song is Achilles' Last Stand followed by the sadly underrated All My Love

Great choices guys !

there was an idea floated back in the day wher the former band , Yes :

was gonna merge wit Zep after Bonham's untimely demise and call themselves

ex Y and ex Z ....OR

XYZ .
..

anyone knows what happened to that ??

the power of Google :  Wink

In April 1981, former Yes drummer Alan White and bassist Chris Squire got together with Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page

for a proposed supergroup called XYZ

— which could have also included Robert Plant, but never quite got off the ground.

That would have been brilliant if it had actually happened. I am a huge fan of Yes as well. Though to be frank, White and Squire aren't the people you think of when you think of Yes.
