Chandimal's tough day continues as he pushed too hard at that one from Jimmy. England pushing hard. Sri Lanka need a real captain's innings from Mathews. 53/3.

but I think he would do better at 6 or 7 in Tests."

Woakes into the attack and picks up a wicket almost immediately. Very curious review by Mathews, wonder how much not reviewing the lbw decision at Headingley played into this.

Woakes with a second wicket. He has bowled beautifully and also with great pace. A very good game for him so far.

England running riot in what is actually pretty good batting conditions with plenty of sun.

Woakes making the most of his opportunity. The only slight downside is Finn's lack of pace and rhythm.

Woakes could have easily beaten his recent 9 for 36 here

if only he'd been given first bowl instead of Anderson & Broad  Wink

Superb rhythm from Woakes. His pace is up, his action impeccable - shades of Botham
