A masterclass in strike farming is going on now.
Sangas is providing Shiv with a lesson in how to bat with the tail and how to make meaningful runs.
Sangs has literally shielded the tail for hours and propelled his own score from 100 to 200+. He is facing all balls and accelerated dramatically once Sri Lanka's last three batsmen were exposed by New Zealand.

[size=18pt]I just witnessed a spectacular double hundred by Sri Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara[/size].
* While Shiv is poking away in South Africa and not scoring runs, Sangakkara scored 203 runs off 306 balls---an amazing strike rate of 66.63
* Shiv scored 9 runs off 48 balls in his last innings----a strike rate of 18.75
* After Shiv fails in his last innings in South Africa he should spend the next 2 months looking at Sangakkara's innings and learning from the great Sri Lankan.
* Once again, congrats to Sanga on a great double hundred. Hope Shiv can miraculously score a 14 in his last innings in SA----that would make him the highest scorer at the #5 batting position.
