in India the biggest news of the day was the release of this punjabi prisoner who admitted to being a spy on pakistan. the pakistani govent jailed him for 30 some odd years. he was released the other day and it was big big news about his homecoming.
they were lamblasting the pak govent for jailing him for so long....which i dont get

Well I cannot say that I am surprised to hear anything about intolerance coming out of the area. To be honest I am not too familiar with the histories of this area, but I did learn a little about the Sikh and Muslim cultural war in Pakistan, but of course this was from a novel that was written in the 1940s or something. Train To Pakistan was a title, and it was a good book if you need a good read. I might have to bone up on the actual news though, but thanks for sharing.
