This is all a publicity stunt engineered by david Stern to make people forget the NBA strike . Is it a coincidence that he happened to be picked up by New York the biggest media market in the world?

no he has a 1 yr contract now. before his he first played long minutes, the knicks were able to cut him without paying out in full. now his 400k+ contract is guaranteed.
