1. Guyana is spinning teams out and getting points for wins. Only Paint has been playing Bishoo and Permaul well. Everyone else is confused. Bishoo and Permaul took massive hauls in almost every game.
2. Barbados had lots of games resulting in draw or rained out. Barbados bats slower than the other teams, and their hostile bowling forces the opposition to bat cautiously and slow as well. At the start of the tournament, the opposition were attacking Barbados and losing. At the end, eveyone used "turtle tactics", opting to just survive.
3. Chanderpaul turned it on when it came to crunch time.

Also, whilst the Barbados batsmen have the best averages of the tournament, only Paint scored consistently against Guyana. So the Barbados bats haven't really proven themselvs vs two best bowling attacks in the region (Barbados and Guyana, spin and pace).

I wonder how many west indians and guyanans from de "disapora" flying in to support de west indies in the up coming test matches.
Failing that has de WICB struck a deal with ESPN for coverage of de tests. I sure there will be many takers if espn charge US$100 for de tests against England and Australia.
